What is an Xtreme Life Weekend?

These weekend camps take place over the course of two weekends in October (a Girls’ weekend and a Boys’ weekend). They are for teens in foster care ages 12-17. Many who attend these weekends have graduated from our Royal Family KIDS Camp or are from local group homes.

Xtreme Life Weekend Camps teach social and emotional skills as well as character building, conflict resolution, and team building in an engaging and fun atmosphere. The weekends take place in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia. Activities include challenge courses with high and low ropes, team games, karate, a Girls’ Tea, Chapel, and other activities that serve to teach important life skills.

Our Xtreme Life 2016 Weekends were such a sweet time of encouragement, skill-building, and FUN! A huge thank you to all the incredible volunteers, sponsors and prayer partners that made it possible.

The GIRLS weekend is October 6-8!

The BOYS weekend is October 20-22!

Returning campers will receive priority placement, but after the due date of September 11th for the girls and September 25th for the boys, if spaces are not full, all applications will be considered equally (first come, first serve). A camper’s application will not be considered complete until all three forms are turned in (application & 2 liability forms). We will let you know as soon as possible when campers are confirmed. At that time, the family will receive instructions on what to bring, where to meet on Friday & Sunday, etc.

Contact Julie Welborn with any questions for campers.
